Colaboração on-line por parte dos alunos: contextos distintos e possível valor agregado em termos de descoberta coletiva?

Resumo

Os alunos têm a oportunidade de mobilizar diferentes ferramentas digitais para fins de colaboração, especialmente quando estão envolvidos em atividades de pesquisa ou investigações. Mas essas ferramentas podem ser usadas em contextos diferentes, formais ou informais, dependendo de quais são usadas. Daí o interesse em examinar os processos interativos em ação em ambos os casos, assim como a transição gradual de um para o outro provavelmente explicará por que os participantes se distanciam um pouco dos órgãos oficiais para trabalharem juntos. A hipótese então é que essa transição provavelmente dará à atividade coletiva uma dimensão heurística, em particular uma propensão à descoberta. Neste artigo, essa hipótese é testada com o apoio de um campo teórico (Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning) e de dados (qualitativos/quantitativos) de estudos recentes, levando em conta que outro fator (o tamanho dos grupos formados pelos alunos) parece desempenhar um papel significativo nessa questão.
