Penser l’éducation ouverte au prisme des capabilités : pourquoi les REL à l’ère des ia?

Résumé
L’éducation ouverte (EO) et les ressources éducatives libres (REL) s’appuient sur des valeurs démocratiques auxquelles peu de personnes s’opposent dans le champ de l’éducation. En effet, il s’agit de s’engager pour le partage des ressources permettant le développement de savoirs. Toutefois, le déploiement des REL semble freiné dans de nombreux établissements. Si les premières critiques s’adressent notamment à l’absence de politiques spécifiques et à la résistance du corps enseignant à les partager, s’ajoutent les disponibilités des ia génératives et la tension que ces techniques nourrissent avec le libre. Une reconceptualisation des REL semble alors nécessaire. Pour cela, la proposition est d’avoir recours à l’approche par capabilités, pour tenter de saisir la tension entre des valeurs partagées, mais des pratiques absentes, tant sur le plan institutionnel qu’individuel. En ayant recours aux processus d’opportunités et de liberté, c’est le pouvoir (d’)agir qui est en jeu lors d’une participation active à l’EO. En quoi les REL participent-elles à façonner un environnement professionnel capacitant pour les corps enseignant et estudiantin? L’article propose une place revalorisée pour les REL aujourd’hui que les ia sont disponibles, afin d’envisager une opérationnalisation plus confiante des cadres d’action pour l’EO.
