The journal publishes two thematic issues (Spring and Fall) and one Varia issue per year.

Release time

  • Special issue: The whole process usually lasts approximately 10 months.
  • Varia issue: From submission to pre-publication, approximately 4 months. Articles submitted in the permanent call for publication are available on the site in pre-publication version immediately after their acceptance following the expert review process. At the end of the year, the layout of the issue is finalized for publication.

On the journal platform, authors will find four sections corresponding to the four phases of the publication process:

Steps

Call for proposals
  • Authors submit a letter of intent to respond to a Call for proposals.
  • The guest editor (or the editor-in-chief) manages submissions, makes editorial decisions of acceptance/decline and editing.
1. SUBMISSION
2. REVIEW
(1, 2 or 3 cycles)
  • Reviewers with relevant expertise are chosen for initial review.
  • Based upon the reviewers' reports and their readings, section editors communicate the journal's decision: accept the submission, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, revise and resubmit, reject or recommend transfer to another journal.
  • Authors send the revised version and the response addressing the reviewer’s suggestions.
3. COPYEDITING
  •  M&M checks style and format to ensure it follows the journal's standards:  references, citation style (APA), figures, tables and illustrations, hyperlinks, and sends comments to the authors.
  • The author reviews the feedback and sends the revised version.
